What
is an Escorted Tour?
An escorted tour is a preplanned itinerary that includes
your accomodations, tour guide, motorcoch transportation,
and some meals, local tours, and activities as indicated on
the itinerary. You will be traveling with other passengers
(depending on tour and company, can range between 20 and 45
total passengers). The many advantages of an escorted tour
includes overall value for the money, experience and expertise,
and a hassle free way to enjoy your destination.
Don't
simply book the least expensive escorted tours. Ask about
tour inclusions and hotel location and quality, which are
factors that determine package pricing. Also, book early because
many of the tours sell out for popular departure dates and
there is no price discount for last minute travel.
Minimum
age for children traveling with their parents is generally
about 8. Adventures by Disneyfeatures family oriented escorted
tours, with a minimum age of 4 on many of their tours. For
very small children, escorted tours are not recommended.

What
is an independent tour?
An independent tour is one where your travel party is
on your own. Accomodations are always included. Optional package
add-ons are rail transport, airport-resort transfers, car
rental, sightseeing, and excursions.
An
independent tour is a great option for families, honeymoon
couples, and in general the traveler who prefers to do their
own thing.
